Daniel Himmel

Daniel is a recognized leader in the field of artificial intelligence and the law. Daniel’s legal career began as an attorney in Toronto, where he spent five years specializing in M&A, private equity, securities compliance, and corporate governance. This experience laid a solid foundation for his transition to an in-house role at a prominent international FinTech company. During his tenure there, Daniel honed his skills in privacy law, data protection, and commercial contracting for two years. Following, Daniel joined a global AI contract review software company, where he led its consulting practice. As a product expert, Daniel supervised the deployment of AI and guided stakeholders on the implementation of various use cases.

In 2022, Daniel brought his wealth of knowledge and experience to ClearyX, where he now leads our Transactional Products organization. He oversees the development and deployment of all transactional support products, effectively leading a team of 16 multidisciplinary contributors. Daniel’s leadership is instrumental in realizing ClearyX’s vision of revolutionizing traditional transactional work.

Beyond his professional life, Daniel is an avid outdoor enthusiast who enjoys long treks and trail runs. He also has a penchant for exploring local craft breweries, often accompanied by colleagues.
